1. Policy Statement and Scope

GlobalFunda Academy (the "Platform") believes that every student has an absolute right to learn in a safe, secure, and supportive digital environment. Because our online schooling network operates across international boundaries, this Child Safeguarding Policy establishes unified, strict protective measures to safeguard minor learners from abuse, exploitation, harassment, and emotional harm.

This safeguarding infrastructure is designed, underwritten, and legally managed by UnLimited Konsulting Global. It strictly complies with global child protection standards, including the South African Children's Act (Act No. 38 of 2005), the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and international United Nations (UN) child safety frameworks.

This policy applies unconditionally to all individuals interacting with our ecosystem: verified educators, administrators, class managers, parents, legal guardians, and students.

2. Gatekeeping: The Verified Teacher Standard

To prevent unauthorized, unqualified, or unsafe adults from entering our virtual spaces, the platform runs a strict background and academic vetting protocol before any teacher can interact with a class.

Teacher verification flow: Teacher application and credentials submitted → Identity and background validation checks → Automated highest-grade competency test passes at 85% or higher → Admin reviews and scores teaching plan at 85% or higher → Admin Manager flips status to verified → Teacher unlocked for the automated class assignment engine.

• Credential Verification: Every applicant must upload certified copies of their teaching qualifications, professional registrations, and valid government-issued identity documents.
• Academic Testing Gate: Teachers must pass an automated subject competency exam for the highest grade they select with a score of ≥ 85%.
• Pedagogical Evaluation: The Admin Manager must manually review and score their uploaded, structured lesson blueprints with a grade of ≥ 85%.
• System Restriction: The backend registration database automatically blocks unverified accounts. A teacher profile cannot be matched to any spawned classroom container until they have crossed all background, testing, and manual review hurdles.

3. Classroom Intimacy and Dynamic Group Isolation

• Micro-Class Boundaries (12–15 Caps): By keeping classrooms bounded between a soft cap of 12 and a hard cap of 15 students, educators can easily monitor and moderate student behavior.
• Data Partitioning: Each classroom container functions as a self-contained digital island. Students cannot message, view profiles, or jump into video streams belonging to other cohorts.

4. Moderated Lessons and Respectful Communication Rules

• Live Lesson Supervision: Every live class session must be launched and hosted by a fully verified teacher.
• Isolated Communication Filters: Text chats, shared whiteboards, and interactive forums are heavily moderated.
• Professional Boundaries: Teachers are strictly banned from sharing personal social media links, private phone numbers, or external communication details with students.

5. Account Infrastructure and Perimeter Security

• Mandatory Multi-Tier Authentication: Secure account controls are built across login, register and reset-password pathways.
• Parent/Guardian Linking: Every student account is legally and systematically linked to a verified Parent or Legal Guardian account.
• Strict Access Control: Database permissions are explicitly separated by user role.

6. Clear Reporting Processes for Child Safeguarding Concerns

Any user can flag inappropriate behavior from their dashboard or by emailing support@globalfunda.co.za.

1. Isolate and Suspend Profiles — Within 2 Hours

The Admin Manager locks the accused profile, revokes access and reviews classroom logs.

1. Fact-Finding and Evidence Review — Within 24 Hours

The UnLimited Konsulting Global safety team reviews logs and interaction histories.

1. Final Determination and Legal Escalation

Verified offenders are permanently banned. Criminal activity is escalated to the appropriate authorities.
